Melanie Cox was recognised as Coach Tourism Professional of the Year at the annual Coach Tourism Awards, held at Liverpool Cathedral.
Melanie who is Epsom Sales Manager has worked in the travel industry for 26 years and at Epsom Coaches for over 10 years.
The awards recognise excellence and innovation across coach tour operators, tourist destinations and attractions, and industry suppliers.
Steve Whiteway Managing Director commenting on Melanie’s success, said: “Melanie brings a modern slant to old fashioned values relating to customers old and young, patiently and with great diplomacy. In addition to her work within the company, Melanie has also found time to take on the responsibility of being a Director of CTC, demonstrating her passion for the coach touring product. The award was presented by television presenter, and travel and tourism expert, Judith Chalmers.
These awards specifically focus on the coach tourism community. Melanie was up against coach tourism professionals from across the country for this well-deserved and significant achievement. Epsom Coaches were also finalists for Tour Programme of the Year and Brochure of the Year
